SOPHIE BANDA
Sophie is Five In A Boat’s media guru. With extensive experience across technology, gaming and digital media clients - both agency-side and in house - Sophie has a strong sense of what makes journalists tick, and what makes each client's story compelling.
She loves nothing more than getting to the heart of a client's business, understanding their challenges and how they play into the wider industry, then marrying that up with the trends which journalists are keen to write about.
When she's not busy with work, Sophie enjoys tequila and stand up comedy.
Dan Brown
As a former journalist Dan has worked for an array of publications and PR agencies. A writer first and foremost, he specialises in content creation ranging from long form white-papers and thought leadership material to blogs and corporate messaging.
Dan graduated with a degree in Journalism from Falmouth University before cutting his teeth as a reporter in local news, with stints working abroad for The Times of India and BBC Magazines, supplemented by occasional travel writing.
A consummate globetrotter, Dan also loves films and playing video games and is almost always found snacking on something.
Hannah Bullock
She might be the youngest, but Hannah will get stuck into anything thrown her way. She is highly organised, super proactive, and is the brains behind both client and agency social media campaigns.
Hannah started writing at university, where she edited a magazine and worked as a blogger. She cut her teeth in the PR world in Nottingham before moving down to the big smoke in 2020.
Outside of work, Hannah is a keen runner, a festival fan, and is rarely found without a beer in hand. Having completed a ski season and a study abroad programme in the US, Hannah also loves to travel.
